Well to kick off the Blog I will start with our tasting for the evening.
Molly Dooker "Blue eyed boy 2009" Shiraz. Gotta give credit to my Neighbor he brought the bottle over. (Amazing big, fruit forward wine)
Cameron Hughes "Lot 200". Although not ready to drink yet we could not resist. Let it decant for about 2 1/2 hours and let me just say the potential is there. I will save a few bottle to open with "the lushes" for future review.

I have to say that since converting from beer I have been lucky enough to be blown away quite few times in just a year and a half. Tonight though, "Blue Eyed Boy" took the experience to heights only previously imagined. This treat was absolutely worth the investment and I hope to try it again soon. One awesome quality of the nose was that it was visceral and emotional; and the taste was there, easily accessible. We knew before it ever hit your tongue exactly how big and bold a fruit bomb this would be. Loving life right now. Thanks again Reid
