Alta Vista, Reserve Malbec - 2005

I had this Malbec last night at Crescent Moon Wine Bar in Spring. This was my first time to this wine bar and will definitely be back. They have a great atmosphere and a killer wine list. The Alta Vista Grande Reserve Malbec was a fantastic wine. Great spice and earthy notes on the nose. The wine has big upfront fruit and spice notes with nice soft tannins that linger forever. I would like to buy another bottle or two and save. The wine has the tannins that will definitely lend to getting better with age.

The whole reason this came about is because the 4 of us really enjoy wine but unfortunately do not live close enough to hang out often.
